Questions
- Is a French crop good for a receding hairline?
- It is the single best cut in most barbers' repertoire for one. Sweeping the top forward puts hair over the temples rather than pulling it back off them, and the blunt fringe gives the hairline a straight edge that hides an uneven one.
- How long does the top need to be for a French crop?
- About an inch and a half to two inches. Shorter than that and the fringe will not reach the forehead; much longer and it stops being a crop and starts being a fringe.
