Questions

What is the difference between a high top fade and a flat top?
Height and shape. A high top is a tall column, usually four inches or more, and often keeps a slightly rounded front. A flat top is shorter and cut dead level into a hard plane, with the sides squared harder. They are cousins, not the same cut.
How much hair do you need for a high top fade?
At least four inches of coil standing up, which from a fresh buzz is roughly six to nine months of growth. It is the longest lead time of any cut in the catalog.
