- How long does hair need to be for a quiff?
- At least three inches at the front. Below that there is not enough length to lift and hold, and it will collapse into a crew cut by lunchtime.
- What is the difference between a quiff and a pompadour?
- A quiff is textured and swept up and slightly back, with visible separation. A pompadour is smoothed and swept straight back into a solid rounded mass. The quiff is the messier of the two.
